We are saddened to announce the death of Benta Waiharo Mutheru, which occurred on 13th October 2025 at Mithamo Health Centre, Nyeri.
Daughter of the late James Karanja and Grace Wangui of Wamagana, Nyeri County.
Beloved wife of Mr. John Ndirangu Karuga, retired officer, Ministry of Lands.
Mother of Lydia Wangari (USA), James Karuga (Nairobi), Daniel Muriithi (Nyeri) and Mercy Njeri (Karatina University).
Mother-in-law of Christine, George, and Ruth.
Sister of Peter Karanja, Anne Muthoni, Francis Njenga, and the late Alice Nyambura.
Grandmother of Brian, Elijah, Naomi, Ian, and Wairimu.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Tetu, Nyeri County, for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Peacetop Funeral Home on Thursday, 17th October 2025, for burial at her family home in Tetu, Nyeri.
