We are saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Esther Ncurubi Manyara, which occurred on 22nd October 2025 at Kiirua Utheri Health Centre, after a long illness bravely borne.
Beloved wife of Mr. Edward Manyara (Nairobi) and loving mother of Kelvin Manyara, Mercy Karwitha and Edna Nkirote.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeremiah Mwenda of Katheri East, Meru County.
Sister to Patrick Mwenda, Eunice Kagendo, and Lucy Karimi.
Esther was a keen businesswoman, and she was the Founder and CEO of Africa Herbs and Spices, a company she ran for over 10 years, mentoring many young people and farmers alike.
She was also a strong member of the The LED Church, serving as a women’s fellowship leader and choir patron.
Her laughter, wisdom, and love for service will forever be remembered.
The cortege leaves Kiirua Highway Funeral Home, on Friday, 31st October 2025, for a funeral service at The LED Church, followed by burial at her family home in Katheri, Meru County.
