It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Elder Stephano Mutuati Riga, on 22nd October 2025 at St. Clelia Barbieri Hospital
Beloved husband to Mama Clarita Njeri Mutuati, father to John Riga (Nairobi County), Sarah Njeri (Mombasa), Peter Riga (Cape Town), and Zippy Wangari (Kampala).
Brother to Reuben Riga, Mary Wangui, the late Anthony Samuel Njue, and Cecilia Wambeti.
Elder Muriithi was a retired cooperative officer and longtime church elder at AILC Runyenjes Parish. He was instrumental in establishing youth fellowship programs and community welfare groups that continue to uplift families across Embu.
He was a man of few words, deep faith, and steadfast character.
Friends and family are meeting daily at his home in Runyenjes Town for prayers and support.
The cortege leaves St. Clelia Barbieri Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, for burial at his homestead in Runyenjes, Embu County.
