It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Elikana Nyabuto Onchwati, a retired biologist from Pan Africa Crop Institue, which occurred on 10 October 2025 after a short illness.
Beloved husband to Mrs. Pamellah Mochache Nyabuto, and father to Dr. Alya Nyabuto-Keith (London), Kevin Nyabuto (Mount Zion Capital), and Faith Nyabuto (Jefferson & Travis Plc).
Son of the late Mzee Onchwati Nyambane and Mama Risper Nyakoiba of Bomachoge.
Brother to Anita, Mosigisi, Mokaya and Carol. Uncle and grandfather to many.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Mint Restaurant, Kisii Town, for prayers and support.
The cortege leaves St. Elys Hospital Mortuary on Monday 13 October 2025, for burial at the family home in Nyamira County on Tuesday 21 October 2025.
