Daughter of the late Mzee Joseph Muthoga and Mama Wacuka Wanjiku of Giakanja, Nyeri County.
Beloved wife of the late Mzee Samson Karuri Gathiru of Tetu, Nyeri.
Loving mother of Peter Wachira (Nairobi), Grace Wangari (USA), Joseph Muthoga (Nyeri Town), Daniel Gathiru (Karatina), and Cecilia Wanjiku (Businesswoman, Nyeri).
Mother-in-law of Jane Wambui, Michael Kahiga, Rose Muthoni, Carol Nyambura, and James Muthee.
Sister of the late Hannah Wangechi, Francis Murigu, Stephen Muthui, and Mary Wamuyu.
Grandmother of Samuel, Tabitha, Evans, Shanelle, Bryan, Ivy, Emmanuel, Wanjiru, and many others.
Great-grandmother of three.
Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Tetu, Nyeri County, for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege leaves Crest Mortuary on Tuesday, 25th November 2025, at 8:00 am, for funeral service at Mwaki Mutheru Tetu Church and burial thereafter at the family farm in Tetu.
