It is with profound sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Maryjoy Chepchirchir Lokoris, on 17th October 2025, at Lodwar Rays of Hope (ROH) Health Centre, after a short illness.
Beloved daughter of Mr. Daudi Lokoris and Mrs. Rahab Chelim of Kaptagat, Elgeyo Marakwet.
Loving wife of Mr. Terila Ekai, and devoted mother of Joyce Cheptoo, Faith Nasieku, and Brian Ekai.
Maryjoy was a registered nurse and humanitarian, serving with various hospitals and organizations in Turkana, where she coordinated community health outreach and drought relief programs. Her compassion and professionalism touched countless lives across the county.
She was a devout Christian and active member of St. Benedicta Church, leading health education and children’s ministry.
The cortege leaves Missions of Love Morgue on Saturday, 25th October 2025, for burial at Nakwamekwi, Lodwar.
