It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Nemuel Ochieng Otieno, of Nyamware Village, Kakelo East Sub-Location, Kaksingri East Location, Rangwe Sub-County, Homa Bay County, which occurred on 5th January 2026

He was a loving and devoted husband to Margaret Achieng Otieno and a caring father to Brian Otieno Ochieng, Mercy Akinyi Otieno, Collins Odhiambo Otieno, and Faith Anyango Otieno.

He was the cherished son of the late Mzee Daniel Otieno Ouma and the late Mama Sabina Atieno Otieno of Rangwe, Homa Bay County.

Samuel was a dear brother to Joseph Ouma, Rose Akoth, Peter Otieno, Beatrice Anyango, the late John Odhiambo, and Lucy Achieng.

He was a beloved brother-in-law to George Onyango, Agnes Auma, Felix Oduor, Jane Atieno, and Thomas Omollo.

He was a loving uncle to Kevin, Brenda, Caleb, Dennis, Sharon, Victor, Naomi, Paul, Ivy, and Nathan, and a cousin, nephew, and friend to many whose lives he touched with kindness and humility.

Family, friends, and relatives are meeting daily at the family home in Nyamware Village, and in Nairobi at Umoja Estate, for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Rosa Funeral Home on Thursday, 19th February 2026, at 10:00 a.m. for a funeral service at St. Melissa Church, Kaksingri, followed by an overnight vigil at the family homestead.

The burial and final farewell service will take place on Friday, 20th February 2026, at his home in Nyamware Village, Rangwe Sub-County, Homa Bay County.
