It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Danielton Karoni Murugami, which occurred on 17th October 2025 at Tropicana Hospital after a long battle with illness.
Beloved son of the late Rev. Peter Muita and Mama Ruth Wambui of Nyandarua County.
Devoted husband to Alicia Wanjiru Muita, and loving father to Kevin Muita (Lawyer, Nairobi), Carol Wairimu (Canada), and Ruth Wambui (Strathmore University).
Mr. Murugami was a renowned teacher at many schools, and a published author whose work shaped many children and young people. A humble intellectual, he mentored hundreds of students and was known for his wisdom and generosity.
He served faithfully as a leader, Mwanga Church, where his passion for service and excellence inspired many.
A memorial service will be held at Mwanga Church, on Wednesday, 22nd October 2025, followed by burial at his family home in Engineer, Nyandarua County on Friday, 24th October 2025.
