It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mzee Abdiaziz Jamal Galgallo, which occurred on 20th October 2025 at Moran Wamba Hospital after a short illness.
Son of the late Wario Galgallo and Mama Habiba Abdi of Saku Sub-County.
Beloved husband to Mama Halima Boru, and father of Bashir Wario (Marsabit), Fatuma Wario (Nairobi), Jamal Abdi (Isiolo), and Maryam Abdi (Tendet School).
Mzee Abdi was a respected peace ambassador and elder in the Rendille-Borana peace circles, remembered for his wisdom and tireless efforts in promoting unity among communities in Northern Kenya.
He was known for his humility, generosity, and unwavering faith.
The funeral prayer (Janazah) and burial took place on Tuesday, 21st October 2025, in Saku, Marsabit County, in accordance with Islamic rites.
Family and friends continue to meet daily at his homestead for evening prayers and condolences.
